Garden Update

This is the bed on the right. The peas are very small in this picture: hardly even halfway up the stakes.

Garden Update

Here's the bed on the left; you can see spinich right in the front there.

Lilies in the Front

A Quiet Moment

One of a Kind?

It appears that this iris is an individual on our property. None of the others look like this.

Here's Scott, planting some small seedlings in the garden.

Garden Project

Here's our garden project at an early stage. In this picture there is nothing planted yet.

Memorial Day Brain Storm

So it's Memorial Day, and Scott and I have been very busy in the yard. He cleaned the Koi pond while I did some weeding and pulled up all the red tulip bulbs from the front. He mowed the lawn, trimmed the weeds, and planted watermelon and carrots in the garden. I transplanted some lilies from the back to the side yard. I also moved a white rose bush that has been struggling for a while.
Here's a photo of the Koi pond, with a circle around a big empty space behind the Rose of Sharon Hibiscus. What should go there? The brainstorm began today.
